ELINOR CARUCCI
This gold and beaded collar, a gift from her 2016 clerks, was worn to hear oral arguments. Long before she joined the highest court in the land RBG argued before the Supreme Court herself. Her first oral arguments to the Supreme Court were in 1973, when she argued persuasively for gender equality in pay in Frontiero v. Richardson.
