A Los Angeles lawyer, Susan Hyman, sent this Stella & Dot-designed Pegasus Necklace to Ginsburg as a gift after wearing it herself to a screening of the 2018 documentary RBG. Ginsburg loved it and told Hyman that she’d wear it “on and off the bench.” The Pegasus’s off-bench social calendar isn’t as well documented as its first appearance before the court: the prickly, Game-of-Thrones-esque necklace was Ginsburg’s choice to wear to Brett Kavanaugh’s first formal Supreme Court portrait.
