ORAL ARGUMENTS COLLAR, 2020
This purple-beaded collar was given to RBG around 2018; she wore it to hear oral arguments. Like the other “Oral Arguments” collar in the group, it shares a golden hue, but a quieter adornment than her “majority opinion” collar. Many of Ginsburg’s legal victories for gender equality came early in her career when she argued as an attorney before the court rather than as a member.
