WEDDINGS COLLAR, 2020
Justice Ginsburg officiated many weddings – path-breaking same-sex marriages, colleagues, clerks, and admirers. The present collar was a gift to Ginsburg for officiating a 2017 union, and she kept it as a badge of pride in her practice of performing as many weddings as her busy schedule allowed – a working calendar as ornately woven as the collar itself.
