ELINOR CARUCCI
Ginsburg selected this traditional jabot as her representative in the collection of the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia. It is unadorned and pleated, not dissimilar to the replica of the operatic jabot given her by the Metropolitan Opera House, and in that form, it is more theatrically juridical than the round collars from which Ginsburg’s image has become inseparable.
