Abelardo Morell, "Through the Looking Glass, Looking Glass Room," 2020
"Wonderland: Curious Nature" is on view at the New York Botanical Garden from May 18, 2024 – October 27, 2024. Inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the exhibition unites the flora and grounds of the Garden with a selection of artworks curated by Jennifer Gross, including work by Abelardo Morell, Beverly Semmes, and Yoko Ono, amongst others.
Morell's works are on view in the NYBG's Library, including his work from the 1990s inspired by Alice in Wonderland as well as his 2020 series reinterpreting Through the Looking Glass.
