Director Jim Jarmusch Names Dora Maar as Surrealist Pick at Paris Photo

Director Jim Jarmusch curated a selection of 34 photos at Paris Photo to celebrate the centenary of the Surrealism movement. His picks are not purely Surrealist, but as he says, “reflect its tenets of the transformation of the ordinary into the dreamlike, and at times vice-versa.” Photographs by Dora Maar and Sally Mann, on view at our booth C25, were selected.
